Continuing the trend of new boats and gear recently introduced at the fall shows, the AIM Marine Group editorial team, which includes Soundings and Trade Only, also will launch a new product at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which runs Oct. 25-29.
We will be reporting, writing and producing a 56-page publication called Fort Lauderdale Today that will be distributed on Friday and Sunday morning at the show. This new show daily will report on new boat and product unveilings and other newsworthy events and announcements. It will be the same physical size as Trade Only magazine and printed on coated stock.
We’ll also be filing daily industry stories via Trade Only Today, as we have in the past. New is good, and we’re excited about the challenge and the opportunity to provide consumers and exhibitors with a boat show news magazine produced in real time.
We have a strong team to pull from. In addition to Trade Only and Soundings, the Active Interest Media Marine Group consists of Yachts International, Power & Motoryacht, PassageMaker, Sail and BoatQuest.com. All are contributing to Fort Lauderdale Today.
The largest in-water boat show in the world, FLIBS, as it is often referred to, is produced by Show Management, which is owned by AIM, which also owns all of the titles mentioned above.
