A taste of fishing

We’ve been burning the midnight oil lately getting our second issue of Anglers Journal wrapped up — put to bed, as they say — and out the door. We think that anyone in the industry with a passion for fishing — or who sells boats, motors, gear, tackle and accessories to anglers — will have more than a passing interest in this new magazine.

Fishing has been a big part of my life since childhood. After this long winter I’m ready to stop talking and thinking about it and start doing it.

    We were fishing today, no bites in our boat, wyealle or sturgeon. Water temp is 34 degrees, river is flowing about 2 mph, and clarity is 1.5 ft(I have seen it worse). Only talked to one boat that had a sturgeon on but lost it. If you fish by the ice pack be ready to dodge ice chunks. The shore ice is gone about halfway between Frontier and Birchdale so to the east there is alot less ice chunks. Thank you guys for your detailed reporting and keeping us up to date. Hopefully things will pick up in the next week or so.
